Hi there
Firstly I rendomly found your blog as I desperately wanted to know if Bootcamp works…and works for me?!
Guess I’ve gotten the answer. So I am commencing my first session next Monday. I love to hear more from you about the programme before that.
Cheers
Suzanne
Hi Suzanne,
Sorry for only replying now. Where will you be doing your Bootcamp as there are a few! Since you will be starting on Monday, you’ll be greeted with “assessment” =). Don’t worry too much about it because it is compulsory for all, especially first timers so that they know which group to put you. Will tell you more about “assessment” but would like to know which Bootcamp you’re doing first =D.
Bootcamp is great if you want something different and the exercise varies. You will notice that you will have better stamina and endurance level and not forgetting the amount of weight you will shed off! It’s addictive as well! You will meet plenty of great people too.
So good luck, have fun and if you have anymore questions, do ask! =D
Hi again
I’ll be commencing tomorrow with Original Bootcamp @ BU. I understand it is affiliated with the Australian Bootcamp network under Chief Brabon. Are you attending the same bootcamp?
My main intention is to lose fat & get into shape
Have you seen great results yourself? Was it after a long duration?
Would the programme be tailored to specific requirements ie. toning of thighs/ triceps? I presume that there will be an assessment after each month? Oh I have plenty more to ask…
Yea I am looking forward to tomorrow to fun and pain??:) Are the instructors really strict during the programme and on food intake?
Thanks for the good luck wish. It will help
Ah I see, well say “Hi” to the gang for me a.k.a Dr. Malek, Armin, Farhanah, Rose, Nawal, Lizza, Chun etc =)…I knew them before they started BU. We were together before this at Padang Merbok in K.L. I am still with Padang Merbok. I take it that your assessment was 2 big runs, followed by sit ups, grunts and push ups? (3x) and 8 big laps after? =D
You will definitely get into shape and you will lose the fat….some faster than others….so be patient if you don’t see it immediately! With me, I didn’t really see it but people who knew me kept telling me that I’ve lost a lot and I only realised it after when I drop two sizes. Oh here’s another thing, now that you’re with the BU crowd, don’t be too surprise if you find yourself biting into the marathon bug =D…those people there especially the names I mentioned above, are avid marathon runners. I bit into the marathon bug because of them. With OBC and marathons..you will def shed the weight and at the same time, be completely amaze with the progress you’ve made! =)
Hope you had a good day!
I am still alive with an old knee injury stirup after the assessment. Made it for 1st day at OBC with a bday wish fulfilled. Overall it was SUPERB despite that I failed the assessment marginally! Better progress next time
Yes amongst the conversation topics mentioned included marathons! Great to know you are a runner too. No wonder you dropped 2 sizes. Well done. I have signed myself up earlier on for the Shape Night Run. Oh just a fun run of course. Ain’t a superwoman yet
Now time for some nap to recuperate…just plain lazy not tired :p
Have a great day too!
Oh sure I’ll send your regards to the OBC BU bunch!!
